Suntoucher

Concept sketch for an extension to a brick veneer home in Geelong. The south facing room addresses a large garden, but the orientation prevents direct sun from entering the new rooms. North facing clerestory windows allow the sun to penetrate deep into the space, allowing the room to both capture sun and view.

A tired asbestos clad lean-to and garage will be removed for the extension. Brickwork from the existing garage will be salvaged for the extension.
